When a paper jam occurs in the ADF, the following error code appears on the LCD of the scanner's operator panel.

Take the following measures.

• If this error occurs, check if the document meets the requirements described in Documents for Scanning.

• If documents remain in the ADF, pull the documents out of the ADF.

• If documents remain in the scanner, refer to When a Paper Jam Occurs to remove the documents.

• Refer to Replacing the Pick Roller to check if the pick rollers are installed correctly.

If the problem persists, write down the error code and contact the distributor/dealer where you purchased this product. Refer to the contact information in the Contact List or the Contact for Inquiries section in Safety Precautions bundled with this product and make an inquiry.
