Cannot Connect the Scanner and a Computer via a USB Cable

Is the USB cable connected properly?

Connect the USB cable properly.

Did you select [Auto] for the USB setting for the scanner?

Solution

If you select [Auto] for the USB setting for the scanner, the connection between the scanner and a computer may not be able to be established.

Change the USB setting for the scanner to [USB 2.0] in the Software Operation Panel.
