Setting Items
The scanner settings can be changed in [Scanner Settings] on the screen that appears when you press in the lower right of the touch screen.
This section shows a list of setting items that you can configure.
To change the scanner settings, the administrator password is required.
You can check the default administrator password by checking whether there is a label or not.
For details about the label, refer to Checking the Product Label.
Change the administrator password to prevent the settings from being changed by other users.
Also, change the administrator password regularly.
The administrator password can be changed in the screen that appears in the following procedure:

You can specify the waiting time for the scanner to automatically enter power saving mode or to be automatically turned off if it is left on for a certain period of time without being used. |

Specify the number of feeding retries when a document is not fed from the ADF paper chute (feeder). |

Configure the settings to detect overlapped documents during a scan. |

Specify an area to detect overlapped documents. |

Configure the setting to automatically ignore certain patterns of overlapped documents when the setting to detect overlapped documents is enabled. |
||
Configure the settings when manually loading and scanning one sheet at a time. |
||
Enable this mode to use the scanner at an altitude of 2,000 m or higher. |

Configure the setting to detect feeding errors. |
||
Enable this option when you want some settings to be prioritized over the settings for [Paper Protection] and the Software Operation Panel. |

When the scanner is set to detect the paper size automatically, specify whether or not to optimize (round up/down) the fractional part of the scanned image. |

Configure the settings to fill in the shadow or streaks around the edge of the scanned image. |

You can exclude a color from being scanned by selecting either red, green, or blue (three primary colors). |

Specify a starting position for scanning. |

Specify the magnification level for the feed direction. |

To obtain an image quality that is close to the image quality for scanning with fi-6130Z, set the image quality mode. |

You cannot back up or restore the scanner settings on the touch screen.
