One or Both of the Touch Screen and the Outline Light of the [Scan/Stop] Button Turn Off

Has the scanner been left out of operation for a long time after being powered on?
- Solution
The scanner has entered power saving mode or has been automatically turned off.
If the scanner has entered power saving mode
The touch screen turns off and the outline of the [Scan/Stop] button flashes in green.
Resume from power saving mode by one of the following methods:
Load a document on the hopper.
Press the [Scan/Stop] button on the scanner.
Scan a document with the image scanning application.

If the scanner has been automatically turned off
The touch screen and the outline light of the [Scan/Stop] button turn off.
Turn on the scanner.
