Adding an Email Address

Add email addresses to which scanned images will be sent by email when using DirectScan.

Up to 25 email addresses can be added.

  1. Display the [Select Address] screen by one of the following methods.
    • From [Send by E-mail]

      1. In the main screen, press the [Send by E-mail] button.

    • From [Perform Job]

      1. In the main screen, press the [Perform Job] button.

      2. In the [Select Job] screen, press .

      3. In the [Edit Job] screen, press Add.

      4. For the [Destination Type] in the [Add Job] screen, configure the settings for [Send by E-mail].

      5. In the [Add Job] screen, press [Destination].

  2. In the [Select Address] screen, press Change.
  3. In the [Edit Address] screen, press Add.
    TIP

    When you select an email address and press Ascending or Descending, the email address moves up or down by one.

  4. In the [Add Address] screen, configure the settings and press the [Set] button.

    In the [Edit Address] screen, the email address is added with the specified display name.

  5. Press Back.

    In the [Select Address] screen, the address is added.
