Scanner Central Admin
Set this item to manage scanners with Scanner Central Admin Server or Scanner Central Admin Desktop.
Click [Scanner Central Admin] under [Linking with Server] to display the window.

Select this when Scanner Central Admin Server and Scanner Central Admin Desktop are not used to manage scanners.
This is the factory default setting.
Scanner Central Admin Desktop
Select this when Scanner Central Admin Desktop is used to manage scanners.
Scanner Central Admin Server
Select this when Scanner Central Admin Server is used to manage scanners.
When you manage scanners in PaperStream Central Admin, select [Scanner Central Admin Desktop].
When [Scanner Central Admin Server] or [Scanner Central Admin Desktop] is selected, specify the following items:
Host Name/IP address
The host name, FQDN, or IP address can be set for this item.
The space before or after the character string is ignored.
ATTENTIONNote that an IPv6 address is not supported.
TIPWhen entering a host name, the DNS servers need to be set on the scanner.
Port Number
The factory default setting is "20444".
- Network Encryption
Displays whether to encrypt network communications.
- [Check connection] button
Check if the scanner can be connected to Scanner Central Admin Server or Scanner Central Admin Desktop.
- [Apply to the scanner] button
Applies the configured settings.
