When a hopper malfunction occurs, the following error code appears on the LCD of the scanner's operator panel.

Take the following measures.

• Make sure that there is nothing beneath the hopper.

• Confirm that the hopper is not closed with the pick roller unit in the upper position.

• Turn the scanner off then back on.
