The Touch Screen or the [Power] Button Light or Both Switch Off

Refer to the contact information in the Contact List if supplied with this product, or refer to the contact information in the Contact for Inquiries section if provided in Safety Precautions supplied with this product, and then make an inquiry.
Has the scanner been left out of operation for a long time after being powered on?
- Solution
The scanner has entered power saving mode or has been automatically turned off.
If the scanner has entered power saving mode
The touch screen turns off and the [Power] button flashes in green.
Resume from power saving mode by one of the following methods:
Load a document in the ADF paper chute (feeder).
Press the touch screen.
Scans a document with the image scanning application.

If the scanner has been automatically turned off
The touch screen and the [Power] button light are off.
Turn on the scanner.
