Setting the Mode to Scan Thin Papers [Thin Paper Feed Mode]

Configure this setting to lower the pick roller unit and prevent thin paper from jamming.

  1. Start up the Software Operation Panel.

    For details, refer to Starting Up the Software Operation Panel.

  2. From the list, select [Device Setting 2] → [Thin Paper Feed Mode].
  3. Select whether to enable or disable [Thin Paper Feed Mode].

    The factory default setting is [Disable].

    HINT

    • When Manual Single Mode is used, [Thin Paper Feed Mode] is disabled.

    • This setting can also be configured in the operator panel.
