Set an IPv4 address or IPv6 address for the scanner.

Click [Wired LAN] in [Network] to display the window.

IPv4 Configuration

Set an IPv4 address.

• Auto

  This is the factory default setting.

• Manual

  When [Manual] is selected, specify the following items:

  • IP Address

  • Subnet Mask

  • Default Gateway

DNS Server

Set a DNS server.

• Auto

  This is the factory default setting.

• Manual

  When [Manual] is selected, specify the following items:

  • Primary DNS

  • Secondary DNS

IPv6 Configuration

Set an IPv6 address.

• Auto

  This is the factory default setting.

• Manual

  When [Manual] is selected, specify the following items:

  • [Receive RA packet] check box

    Select the [Receive RA packet] check box to enable an IPv6 address that has been generated automatically.

    You can check an IPv6 address that has been generated automatically in the [Scanner Information] window.

    The check box is selected for the factory default setting.

  • IP Address

    ATTENTION

    The following IPv6 addresses cannot be set manually.

    • Loopback address

    • Link-local address

    • Site-local address

    • Multicast address

    • IPv4-compatible address

    • IPv4-mapped address

    • Address beginning with 2001:0000

    • Address beginning with 2002

    • Address beginning with 3FFE

  • Subnet prefix length

  • Default Gateway

• Disabled

Applies the configured settings.
