If a memory error or LSI error occurs, the following is displayed on the operator panel.

• For the LCD

  An error code, error details, and a solution for the problem are displayed on the LCD.

  Error Code	Error Details and the Solution
  C0:E5	C0:E5 Error Memory error (Front) Turn the power back on. If the problem persists, refer to the Operator's Guide and take measures accordingly.
  C0:E6	C0:E6 Error Memory error (Back) Turn the power back on. If the problem persists, refer to the Operator's Guide and take measures accordingly.
  C0:E9	C0:E9 Error LSI error (Front) Turn the power back on. If the problem persists, refer to the Operator's Guide and take measures accordingly.
  C0:EA	C0:EA Error LSI error (Back) Turn the power back on. If the problem persists, refer to the Operator's Guide and take measures accordingly.
  C1:E0	C1:E0 Error LSI error (Initialization failure) Turn the power back on. If the problem persists, refer to the Operator's Guide and take measures accordingly.

• For the Function Number Display

  An alphabetical character and a number for the error code are displayed alternately on the Function Number Display.

Turn the scanner off then back on.
