Pressing the following button on the following scanners in the middle of a scan caused the scan to stop.

• For fi-8190/fi-8290/fi-8170/fi-8270

  [Stop/Clear] button

  Before resuming a scan, if documents remain in the scanner, refer to When a Paper Jam Occurs to remove the documents. Then press the [Stop/Clear] button to clear the display.

• For fi-8150/fi-8250/fi-8150U/fi-8250U

  [Scan/Stop] button
