Starting Up the Software Operation Panel

The Software Operation Panel is installed together with the PaperStream IP driver.

With this application, you can configure various settings for operating the scanner and managing the consumables.

ATTENTION

Do not use the operator panel while the Software Operation Panel is running.

  1. Confirm that the scanner is connected to the computer, then turn on the scanner.

    For details about how to connect the scanner to the computer, refer to Getting Started.

    For information on how to turn on the power, refer to How to Turn the Power ON.

  2. Display the [Software Operation Panel] window.

    • Windows 10/Windows Server 2016/Windows Server 2019/Windows Server 2022

      Click [Start] menu → [fi Series] → [Software Operation Panel].

    • Windows 11

      Click [Start] menu → [All apps] → [fi Series] → [Software Operation Panel].

    The Software Operation Panel icon is displayed in the menu that appears when you click Indicator Icon on the taskbar.

    To have the Software Operation Panel icon always displayed in the notification area, drag and drop the icon onto the notification area.
