The following types of documents must not be scanned:

• Paper-clipped or stapled documents

• Documents on which the ink is still wet

• Documents smaller than the following size:

  • 50.8 × 54 mm/2 × 2.1 in. (width × length)

  • 54 × 50.8 mm/2.1 × 2 in. (width × length)

• Documents wider than 216 mm (8.5 in.)

• Documents other than paper/plastic card (such as fabric, metal foil and OHP film)

• Important documents that must not be damaged or smeared
